The silver and other accesories are gifts from children, grandchildren and friends for her birthday. The first time she used it was 17. mai 2000.

The back on the Tinn bunad is very special.

This bunad has beautiful rose-embroideries on the bodice, apron and skirt, made by free hand!

It is made after the costume that replaced the old "Skjælingstakk" in the middle of 1800s. The bodice in bright green wool with black velvet. The skirt is in black wool.

You can read more about the Tinn bunad here (sorry, only in norwegian, but lots of nice pictures!)
