More about the Marie Aaen Bunad
This bunad was made around 1947-1948. It was made because there was a wish for a more festive bunad for the Nord Østerdal area.

The embroideries are motives from rose-painting from Olenstua in Alvdal.

It is made in green and black. The bunad is used all over Østerdalen today, of women that wish for a bunad with lots of embroideries.
