bunadalle3.JPG (55268 bytes)This picture was taken by Bjørn Granlund on my wedding day. It is all the guests that wore a bunad that day. From left you can see Hjørdis in her Kofte, Ann Mari in her Løken costume, Chlerry in her blue Nordlands bunad, Marit in her blue Trønder bunad, Rune in his brand new Romeriks-bunad, Benny in her Åmli-bunad (Aust Agder), Unni in her Tinn bunad and Lette in her Rogalands bunad.
ukjente.jpg (28645 bytes)This is an old picture I found in an old album from my fathers family. I do only know that one of the girls is my great grandfathers cousin Bertha, born in 1895. So, the picture is from around 1915-1920. I don't know what bunads they are wearing, but I know that Bertha lived in Oslo, and her family was from Buskerud.

This beautiful picture was taken on Marits  wedding day on "Utsikten" in Trondheim.. You can see Kristin in Vestfold Bunad to the left, then Marit in blue, and Siri in red Trønder  Bunads.

Thank you to Marit for the pictures!

Here you can see 5 different Trønder-bunads. From left you can see the back of a blue Trønder-bunad, then a blue Nord-Trønder Bunad,  red Trønder-bunad, green Trønder-bunad and a red Nord-Trønder Bunad. (notice the white embroideries on the red Nord-Trønder!)
bergen.JPG (68425 bytes)This is the three beautiful, happy sisters Strøm. The two oldest in Bergensbunad, and little Eileen in a childrens HardangerBunad. You can read more on the Bergenbunad here,  and the Hardangerbunad here. Eileen is the 3. generation to wear this Hardangerbunad!

Thank you to John Strøm for letting me use the pictures of his daughters!
