About the Womans bunad from Stord and Fitjar

The work to make a bunad for the Stord area, started when the Husflid-skolen [Homecraft School] on Stord opened in 1947. They got help from Gunvor Trætteberg, to collect old costumes material and the information about them.

Teacher Øydis Eide Høyland worked on the design, and with coloring yarn for the bodice and woven bands.

The skirt is blue twoshaft wool, and the bodice is in red.
